Sock creatures is a website that sells 'create your own' sock creature kits. Based in Truro, Cornwall, this website provides over 20 different options of socks and 7 different characters to help create a truly individual sock creature. With a 'rogues gallery' that contains pictures of customers creatures and a 'pimp your sock creature' section where it is possible to buy bling for your creature, this website is great fun and bound to make the customer giggle. Sock creatures created from the website recently made a T. V debut on This Morning causing much hilarity. Their Chris Evans lookie likie sock monkey now appears in his radio advert. The kits available are at present, sock monkey, sock bunny, sock bear, sock owl, sock froggy, sockosaurus (dinosaur), socktopus (octopus). Charms, indmills and felt fruit and veg are also available to sew onto the finished creature adding a bit of bling. Other creatures and accessories are in the pipeline. Other appealing elements of the website are the online community which has sprung up surrounding these little blighters. Sock creatures now has a facebook page with over 300 fans who all share photographs and advice, opinions. A new feature to the website is the sock creature village, Sockton-Upon-Stitch where sock creature lovers can move their creatures into a house, make friends with their neighbours, chat and share pictures.
